High School/High Tech OHIO STATEWIDE LEADERSHIP NETWORK
Ohio HS/HT SLN mission is to facilitate partnerships at the local level among schools, businesses, WIA Youth Boards, Centers for Independent Living and other agencies to work together related to improving transition outcomes for students with disabilities.
SLN Goals:
- increase availability of skills training, employment opportunities and career advancement for students with disabilities
- and increase the number of youth who make a successful transition to work and/or postsecondary education
- To develop evaluation criteria for the “Development Plan” and list of contacts.
- The Development Plan will include criteria that measure whether the target levels of funding and contributions are met, and funds are invested for the maximum benefit of high school students with disabilities in Ohio.
- Every six-months the “Development Plan” will be reviewed by the Ohio Business Leadership Network and Statewide Leadership Network
- Every six-month a new list of “potential contacts” specifically potential endowment donors will be developed by the BLN and Statewide Leadership Network.
- The SLN will oversee the development of the HSHT Intake Form: Purpose of the Intake Form is a survey to describe background, demographics, and services received and future plans (i.e. the experiences) of the youth as they enter the program. The data will be updated every 6 months.
Coordinating and expanding these programs throughout the State will allow us to strengthen already existing relationships and solicit assistance with local efforts to create relationships in areas of the State where they are not currently developed.
